Hey!

So this week was just so great! Sheyla and Facundo got baptized Saturday! It was so great! The baptism service was so spiritual! They got baptized and after they shared their testimonies and it was so spiritual! I just bawled the entire time. Facundo got up there and he just starts crying and just testifying and saying that he's never felt so good in his life and that all this is so true. NINE YEARS OLD. Seriously I've never heard a kid give such a spiritual heart felt testimony. Sheyla too, gave a really spiritual testimony! They were so prepared! They just have their testimonies and everything! It was such a good day!

After we went to their house and Natalia made a bunch of food, so we just passed the time together! I honestly love this family so much and I think I'm here in Cultral Co because the Lord knew that I needed to work with this family and help them. Let's be honest, I did not want to be here in Cultral Co and I know it's going to be so hard to leave here!

The volcano eruption in Chile was pretty crazy, there was ash falling for 2 days! Covering everything! It was like a light snow fall and we couldn't leave our pension for an entire day. When we did leave the next day, we had to wear those ridiculous face masks, hahahaha, it was fun. Adventures! That would never happen back home. The volcano is about half hour from my companions home in Chile, so that is crazy too. But her family is safe. They said there is just way more ash there.

Well I had my last zone conference Friday! =( I had to give my last testimony, it was so weird. I never thought that day would come! Seriously. I just always sat in the confernces and was like that day will never come for me and it came. But it was good. I feel like I gave a gooder. haha

After the conference we saw a car accident. We were walking to an appointment that we had and this chick came around the corner super fast. Her back tires lost track and she ran over the curb and slammed into this truck that was waiting at a red light. We were right next to this truck. She hit the truck so hard that the guy who was driving slammed his head through the passenger window. Put a hole right through the window and shattered it. It was crazy. She also hit so hard that the truck moved like a foot. I was freaking out, cause we were the only ones who saw the accident. I grab the phone and I'm running around asking everyone what the number for emergency is because it's not 911 here. I'm like que es el numero del ambulancia. Que es el numero... haha just crazy and no one knew. Then the police came and they had to take all our information because we saw the accident. But the 2 people involved in the accident were fine. The ambulance came and put a neck brace on the guy and took him in the ambulance. It was crazy. Seriously, after we were talking how protected we were because we easily could have been hit too. It was like something was protecting us.

Also here it's pretty chilly now! Fall came and the climate seemed to have changed that day! It's so weird haha because back home the season change but not at all. Here it changes and it changes. It's not really that hot here and the mornings and nights are pretty cold. Cold enough you need to wear a coat.

That was my week! Hope you're all good! Miss you guys! But not really. hahaha

Have a good week!
See you in 5 months…..oops I mean weeks!
Love Hermana Miller

My Christmas lights Hermana Christensen sent.  hahaha

Laura and her family! We taught them for the first time this week.  Hermana Sanchez contacted them a year ago because she started her mission in this zone.  We were able to teach them about the gospel.  We really believe that her kids will progress so we're going to continue working with this family! =)

Wow this week was crazy! A real struggle, but through all the struggle we were able to see so many miracles!!! It was pretty hard seriously I went to do intercambios with Hermana Rodriguez and I ended up having to spend 3 nights there. We ended up finding something that her companion was doing. Something way bad, not keeping the commandments of God. We had to call the assistants and everything and it was so scary and something that was so uncomfortable. She ended up leaving the next day. Never thought something like that would happen in my mission, but I definitely learned the importance of being a consecrated missionary aun mas.  It also gave me way more desires to prove to the Lord why I'm here.

The area is progressing SO MUCH!! Our menos activa Natalia, is basically active! She's come to church like 6 times, we're just waiting for her to get an assignment or llamamiento in the iglesia! She is the girl who the Emhkes were looking for! We found her and we've been teaching her and now her 2 kids are going to get baptized this Saturday!!! Seriously a milagro. They never wanted to get baptized but then something just happened and they have all the desires to get baptized! They are so spiritually prepared and have really strong testimonies about the Book of Mormon and everything!

Also the family that we found the other week contacting in the morning. CAME TO CHURCH YESTERDAY!!! All four of them! It was super amazing to see them there and we've only taught them 3 times! It just reminds me that the Lord actually has people prepared and we just need to find them!

Wow seriously just when I feel like I can't do it anymore the Lord just picks me up and shows me how amazing this gospel is! Just at the right time! It's amazing this work! I love it!

I LOVE THIS WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hola!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things here in Cultral Co really are coming around for the better! Seriously this week was so great and so full OF MILAGROS!!!!!!!!! We've been able to find so many new people who are ready to hear of the restored gospel. Seriously, I have seen so many miracles happen this week! It just blew my mind! The other day we were contacting in the morning and we came across a joven de 13 anos, named Julie. She was so nice and so excited that she wanted us to come back the next day. When we returned the next day her mom said she had been waiting all day for us. The mom had contact with the missionaries 4 years back! She said that she loved sharing time with them and that they really helped her family. We invited them to come to church with us and Julie's face just lit up. She had the biggest smile on her face, but they couldn't come this Sunday, but the mom said that they'll come next Sunday as a family! So that was one huge miracle that we were able to see this week! She's so cute too! She was hassling us about being late! She's like I was waiting here and when it was 7:02 I was like they aren't coming (we got there late) she's like if you are late again I'm not going to open the door. Way buena anda! She was hugging us the first time we met her! Way cute! She kinda reminds me of Aldana.

Another miracle is Natalia (the menos activa that the Emhkes were looking for) she's active now! She's been to church more than 5 times! She came to General Conference and now her 2 children who aren't baptized are preparing to be baptized for the 25th of April! Seriously it was just a miracle how this came out! The family is reading the BOM every night as a family and they are praying. They're coming to church and just doing the best they can individually and as a family. Everyday they have a spiritual experience through reading the BOM and each of them have a huge testimony about the scriptures! I love being a part of this work and to see so much progress in this family. To be honest, I was so frustrated trying to find this family. The office didn't have all the right information and I really didn't care to find them, but the Lord just put them in our path, and here I am loving this family more that I thought I ever could and helping them come unto Christ. It's so amazing how the Lord works. Honestly I thank him every day for putting me here in Cultral Co and for putting these people in my path so that I can help them, and in return, so that they can help me.

This work is just so amazing. I feel the Lord is giving me so many opportunities to learn and grow these last 9 weeks. Seriously it's like the mission is just growing to be something I love more and more. It's amazing.

My companion is good! We're getting along good! She still won't tell me what's wrong when she gets mad, so that makes it hard for me to know how to help her. But I'm learning more about patience. I just love her and I hope I'm helping her in some way.

Also this week I ate pecans from a tree.

One day we prayed in the morning for the Lord to guide us to someone and he totally did. We have a time set up with her this week. We also had 5 menos actives come to church on Sunday. So ya THE MISSION WORK IS SO GREAT!

I LOVE IT!!!! =)

Love you guys so much!

Have a good week

Monday, April 6, 2015

HEY!!!

First off I definitely did not know that Keaton was going on the Europe trip!!! Dude that is so much fun!! You'll have to write me and tell me all about it!

Things here in Cultral Co are good. We had transfers today, and I ended up staying here with Hermana Sanchez. I was a little sad, because I just don't really love this area at all, but I've got 6 more weeks to learn to love it. I just hope I don't die here (finish my mission here). But we'll see.

Also at like 6 in the morning today we were at the terminal cause we had to stay with an hermana and I saw HERMANA CHRISTENSEN!!!! It was so funny, I was just standing outside looking at the buses, because it's pretty normal for you see other missionaries during transfers. I see these two big hands hitting the window and waving and she comes running out of the bus and jumped on me and we hugged forever! It was the best ever! Not kidding. I just love her! She told me all about our investigator too, that totally got baptized! NADIA! How cool is that! =) Man best thing ever!

I got to watch all 4 sessions of conference in ENGLISH!!! It was the best, I even watched the priesthood session! Hahah the computer was a little slow, and we missed like 5 talks including Elder Hollands =( but I learnt so much. Talked a ton about marriage and eternal families. I loved the talk also from Elder Ringwood where he talked about the leaders and titles. That you don't need a title to be a better person or a better missionary or to make a change. It really impacted me because in the mission it's like oh hermana lider or whoa assistante, but really you don't need that title to be a good missionary. I also loved the talk from Kevin Pearson where he talked about enduring to the end and related it to the tree of life! It was soooooo good! Totally answered one of my questions I had. I loved it! Conference is so great! In the mission we say it's like going to the cineplex! =) haha

I've been super sick today, I've been in bed all day, sleeping all day, crying all night, but I'm better now. I got enough energy to get myself out of bed and come write the family. My companion took good care of me! She's great! We've been getting along wayyyy better! She's so cute! I hid easter eggs for her Sunday morning and she was so excited because she said she's never had eggs hidden for her! =) She's great.

Super crazy that I've started my last full transfer. After that I only have 4 weeks left! So crazy! It just blows my mind, but I'm excited for this transfer! Lots of amazing things are going to happen! =)

Well I love you guys and hope all is well back home! Praying for you all siempre. Also want to invite you all to continue doing family prayer, and family home evening. Read the scriptures as a family everyday! I know that you will see differences in the family if you do it! =)

Oh also I finished reading the Book of Mormon! =) Whooooooooo I love it!
Love you guys,
