HOLA!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your emails this week! Was the best ever! Keaty you're the bomb!!!

Bueno, this week started off with a conference in Neuquén with the President! Me and another Hermana did the musical number, I played the piano and she played the flute! She's like my best friend here in the mish! I love her!!! The conference was super good! Talked a lot about integrity! There were 3 talks we had to study for the conference! It was super good! Super spiritual, and then the missionaries who are leaving for their homes also bore their testimonies! Two of them were my leaders in Roca (my first area) so it was super sad to see them go!!

Also we had a service activity last Saturday, we went out to the boonies with the Patriacals family and cleaned up their campo, (cabin). Cleaned up all the dead grass, and lit it on fire! Planted trees! We were there all day! Then they fed us chorripan! It was fun!!! Hard, but fun! Then we were rushing to the pension, to shower in time to make it to a baptism at 6.

The ward had a baptism! Nicolas! He's 8, and so cute! Super chubby, you'd think he was like 10!! haha he's a cutie!!! Also Marisole and Aldana came to the baptism so that was awesome! They are seriously amazing!

Marisole came to church yesterday! Aldana wanted to sleep (she won't have 3 assists to church, so she can't get baptized this 30th of August) which sucks, but it's ok! She's gonna get baptized anyway! haha but church was so amazing! We taught the gospel principles class about reading the scriptures and stuff, Marisole gave the closing prayer which was amazing. It was super sincere! She put all her heart into it, and was crying! Seriously so amazing! She totally felt the spirit!  It was sooooo cute!!! Also in RS to, she was crying, because she wants her marido to come to church as well as her children and to go to the temple! So cute! =) I seriously love this family so much!!!!!!

Anyway, that's my week! =) Super good week! =)

Love you guys!

YOOOOOOOOOOO

This week was so good!! Well my companion was a little sick todavia, but we were able to get some work done! It's the best, mission work!

I'll start with the best, Marisole and Aldana came to church this Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our 2 investigators! Marisole is the mom to Aldana, Aldana turned 15 on Sunday and Marisole is pregnant with her 4th child! She has about 1 month left! And man do miracles ever exist! Marisole was with her marido (I don't know what to call it in English) like when you live together, have kids, but aren't married. He didn't like that we were teaching them, and he didn't want them to go to church. So right now they're separated, he's living with a friend, but now they can go to church and prepare to get baptized AUGUST 30th!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)))))

Marisole's other daughter, who is around 3 years old, came to church with them and was so loud, I just tended her all sacrament, gave her candy, she colored, gave her all the stickers I had, just to keep her quiet, she's crazy!!! In sacrament she grabbed one of the wrappers and shoved it down my shirt hahaha super awkward. It was a lot of work! lol

Also this week we went and did some service for them, we cleaned up their lawn, it was sooooo much work and Marisole thought she could do it all on her own! So us and the other hermanas went and cleaned it all up for them!! =)

Also we had capacitacion this week, it's like a zone conference, so sweet!!!! All the missionaries acted out stuff, and it was too good! Also we have a conference with the president tomorrow. It'll be good! =) Anyway love you guys!!!

Have a good week! =) And a good end to the summer, man 21 days till school starts. cray! love love

Monday, August 4, 2014 - 7 months

Hey familia! =)

This week was really good! =)

We invited Marisole and Aldana to be baptized for August 30th, and they said YES! So we're helping them to prepare for this day! Marisole isn't married but living common-law and he doesn't want anything to do with the church. He won't let them go to church and we visit them when he's at work, which makes things really difficult. Satanas.... but I have faith that we can baptize Aldana! She's seriously so amazing, and has so much animos to get baptized! =)

We did lots of contacting this week. It's the worst knocking doors, but we found a new investigator! She's super evangelic and says amen to everything, it was kinda funny. Si amen, si, amen, AMEN! Haha bueno. The worst is when you get the doors slammed in your face. Walking for hours and hours in the cold, then bomb door, or the people are 'I'm really cold, chau. Oh really, think about us. Guh. Anyway. It's ok.

This week we had around 78 people in church when we normally have 20 people. We brought all the in-actives back into the fold… haha not. It was a baby blessing but equal it was pretty rad. A lot of new people, so it was cool to share what you believe with those who don't know anything. I also played the piano and rocked it. Haha and the President was there because the mom of the baby cooks in the mission home. They're so cute. They can't have babies and adopted this baby and she's so adorable and they are so happy. We also went to their house for lunch after church which was nice. We were there for like 3 hours haha it reminded me of the suppers we'd have with the Elders there and stuff. It was good!

Sunday was also super frustrating because our investigators never came, nor the miembros inactivo. I feel like we do everything we can to meet the needs of the people and to share something that can bring the Spirit into their lives, but then they don't do anything about it. That's the hardest for me. It crappy because our area is all inactive and I don't know. They just have hardened their hearts so much and it sucks. Some houses we can't even get in.

Anyway we continue to work hard despite the difficulty. I love this work and I know this church is so true. I love it soooooooo much! Man I just am so happy to know what we know because I know without the gospel, I'd be a gongshow. haha

Love you guys!

Monday, July 28, 2014

Hey, so I almost forgot that I didn't write my weekly letter till I was about to log off. So it's gonna be another short one! Lo siento!

Loved the letters this week! Looked like Magrath days was so much fun! Sorry to hear you wrecked your back dad! Kinda reminded me of Echo last year when you broke your rib or something from your skiing wipeout and could barely walk. Then I was slack lining and smacked grandpa ACCIDENTALLY in the face and you were laughing SO HARD.  You ran into the trailer and was laying on your back dying laughing so hard, but in so much pain because of your rib. So be careful, eh.

Transfers were this week! Hermana Lopez and I are still together!! Whoop, hopefully we'll get better at getting up in the mornings. =l

We've changed pensions, which is better because now we don't have to walk an hour to our area. But we shower with a bucket because the shower head doesn't work. It's terrible. A bucket of water and a bowl. Super fun but at least we have hot water now. The first night we had to heat up water on the stove. hahahahha

Also one of our heaters doesn't work, so it's kinda cold in the nights sometimes. But we have a portable heater. The Arnaudin's take good care of us. They are the couple missionary here and she loves me because I saw her in the temple before leaving the CCM. So she seriously looks out for us so much. We got a laundry machine so fast, when there are a ton of pensions that don't have one. Gracias a mi. hahahaha =)

Anyway love you . Stay safe!!!!! =)

Oh and we had a sweet activity this Friday, where the President came and talked and we had 4 INVESTIGATORS there. I was SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love you guys! Stay safe!

YOOOO,

This week was good! We were able to teach a 60 year old the first 3 letters in the alphabet because he can't read. How crazy. We had 6 of our investigators not go to a baptism like they said they would. How crappy. This is the last week of transfers. How fast that went. This week is Magrath days. That is also super crazy because I feel it was just like 4 months ago that we were jumping on that astrojump. I hope you guys have an awesome Magrath Days!
VIVE MAGGYTOWN.

Also our investigator in Roca got baptized this last weekend so that is so awesome! Sad I wasn't able to see it, but so excited that he accepted the gospel in his life. He's 12 years old and the cutest thing, he read like 15 chapters in the BOM when we gave it to him. =) Man things like that make this work so much amazing. Redefines why I'm here =)

Well I'm out of time. How terrible that my emails continue to get shorter and shorter. =( Sorry. It'll be better next week.

Also, I've been thinking about Lincoln a lot and the challenges him and his family will face. I watched a mormon message this week, it's called "Mountains to Climb". Really is a truly amazing video. I pray for their family always, and hope that everything will be ok. God has a plan for us, may not be the plan we want or like, but it's the plan we chose before coming on the earth.

Love you!!
Have a great week!

I hope you all had a good week! Sounds like you all had an awesome time at TREK!!! I'm so happy for you guys! What an experience, eh!! Also I'm glad your having fun at the lake! Man good ole lake time! That's sweet the ZoBell's bought a place there! What a party! Thats sweet!!! =)

Finally the Mundial is over! How tight is it that Argentina played in the finals!!!! So sweet! It was cool to be a part of something so big for Argentina! Sad they lost, but heck the jerseys will be cheaper now. hahaha Tuesday was crayyyyy when they won! So crazy, but when they lost it was crazy too. There was actually an accident right outside our pension. A man on a motorcycle we think got hit by a truck, he wasn't moving and left in an ambulance.

What else this week, oh our ward had a baptism. Was the elders convert, but I had to talk at the baptism! My first talk in Spanish. What a relief when it was over. Ahhhh but it was good overall.

Oh also we had interviews with the pres this week which was really good too! The president is such an amazing spiritual man. He said the perfect things that I needed to hear!!! Also I think I'll finish my mission with them which will be cool!!

Love you guys! I hope you have a great week and have family home evening tonight! =))))
